111/365 Sunday 2nd November 2008 View On Black Dossaer is one of my closest and bestest mates. We've known each other for over twelve years. Following the birth of his baby girl and moving house, he asked me to mind and photograph some of his Lego. Notably his sig-fig Boris Fett. It's been months now... and well I finally got around to doing it. We previously photographed Boris Fett (with Shakah Bols - my SW Inflated Universe sigfig) months ago so Boris could put something on MoCpages. The following text is the Boris Fett story as written by Dossaer: A computer error saw Boris Fett, lowly ranked clerical officer in the Mandalorian Recruitment Department mistakenly appointed to a Research and Development team assigned to develop a new Light Mobile Armoured Offensive (LMAO) Ship. The goal was to create a single seat fighter with the speed of an A-Wing and the shields of a Y-Wing, however the misguided R&D team completely failed. The result was a ship that not only had the shields of an A-Wing and the speed of a Y-Wing but also the turning circle of an Imperial Super Star Destroyer. Dubbed the SH(ite)-Wing by test pilots, the ship and the team behind it became the laughing stock of the Mandalorian bounty hunting community. The SH-Wing was even featured as "What's NOT" in the 'What's HOT and What's NOT' section of Star Fighters Monthly (SFM). The disgraced Boris Fett was given the choice of resigning his commission or accepting a re-assignment to the legal department. Boris promptly quit and set off to start a new life in a galaxy far, far away. He learned the ways of the force via the "Learn The Force In Just 8 Minutes A Day" home cassette range. Unfortunately someone had taped over the last two and half minutes of the tape with Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass' "Tijuana Taxi". The not-quite trained Fett leaned toward the dark side but was unable to find a Sith lord to complete his training. Boris now travels from system to system engaging Imperial and Rebel ships alike in a vain attempt to prove that his Sh-Wing design was not a complete failure. -- Text Source: Boris Fett on MOCpages.
