View On Black Lake Sammamish. too early in the morning to get good light for that type of shot, but i still gave it a try. 100-400 f4.6-5.6 L note: i should definitely get a cropped sensor body like the 50D or the 7D for wildlife shots. as well as a long prime telephoto. still thinking about the ones i'll need but it's sure growing in my mind. the 100-400L is a great versatile lens, but i doubt it can compete with any prime at the very end of the focal. now the 400mm 5.6 is a great lens but an aperture of 5.6 ... it is somewhat not a very pleasing number... i'll have to think about it.
